Rob Curedale is the moderator of the LinkedIn Industrial Design Group and President of Curedale Inc. Curedale Inc. is a product design and trend research company based in Los Angeles. Rob Curedale was born in Australia and worked as a designer, design manager and design educator in London, Sydney, Switzerland, Portugal, Los Angeles, Silicon Valley, Hong Kong, and Detroit. Curedale has managed the development of office furniture systems and seating, medical equipment, technology and consumer electronics products from design offices in Europe, Australia, Asia and North America.
Curedale has designed hundreds of innovative products and experiences as designer and design manager at companies including Philips, frog, Hauser, PDD London and Haworth. Rob has undertaken design projects for organizations including HP, Nokia, Sun, Apple, Canon, Motorola, Nissan, Audi VW, Disney, RTKL, UAE, Saudi, Moroccan, British and Australian Governments, Steelcase Group, Hon Group, Castelli, Gensler, NEC, Hoover, Dell, Black & Decker and Harmon Kardon.
Rob has spoken as a visiting professor and taught as staff instructor widely throughout the United States, Europe, Asia and Australia including at Yale, Cranbrook, Pratt, Art Center Europe and Pasadena; UTS, Sydney College of the Arts; and as Chair of Product Design at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit
